Having looked at other people's experiences of this ride, it seems that it is going to be unlikely that I stick to any pre-planned route. Therefore, I am going to take the easy going approach... see how it goes.. I'll probably plan each days route the evening before. At present, I am in a dilemma of whether to take the A30 out of Cornwall or find the quieter, more hilly, coastal roads. As I'll be starting on a Saturday, the A30 might not be too bad, but I've heard a lot of bad things about it from other people's sites. I am also thinking of purchasing a Sat Nav system. The Tom Tom Rider seems to be the most suitable for a bike from what I have read. If anyone has already used this or knows of this product, please let me know of its effectiveness on a push bike!! |
