I
raised money for the St. Georges Community Children's Project Ltd. My
son had been going to this nursery for two years at this point and was
about to leave to start school in September. I decided to raise money for them as a way of
saying thank you for their hard work and support during this time. They
were in the process of raising money for a new garden for the children
and I was hoping to provide a significant amount of funds to help them
achieve that.
My employers agreed to match what I raised up to the value of £1,000. My target was to raise £1,500 which would would rise to a total of £2,500.
