My Event
With my Land's End to John o'Groats bike ride just 9 days away, this was to be just a nice gentle jog!
Once again, this was organised through Fidelity International. I left work early (with a few work colleagues who had also signed up) and got the train to London. We found the Fidelity tent in Battersea Park and shortly afterwards made our way to the start area. It was a particularly warm evening and I remember the race was hard work because of the heat! I finished with a time somewhere in the mid 20 minutes and then it was time for a few beers before catching the last train home!
